Confidence for Children and Teens:

Childhood and adolescence can be some of the most challenging and painful years of life. Children can develop behaviors that are unexplainable, unusual or sometimes troubling such as bed wetting, nail biting, stuttering or twitching.

Teens and young adults often struggle with their identity, perception of self and social standing. Many teens experience confusion and isolation, which can lead to depression and/or detrimental behaviors.

Aside from experiencing the physiological changes of adolescence, social and emotional pressures can be extremely stressful and sometimes traumatic. Many teens feel awkward and lack confidence or self-esteem. They may feel lonely or perhaps develop a distain or dislike of themselves.

Even though we may tell our children that this can be a part of growing up, it does not make their ‘here and now,’ or what they have to face tomorrow, any easier. Acceptance by piers and cultural pressures to “fit in” can take a heavy toll on the emotional wellbeing of children and teens.

Even though we cannot control the words or actions of others we can control our own experiences. We can control how we feel and how the words and actions of others affect us and by doing this we take control of our own experiences putting ourselves firmly in the driving seat of our lives.

Hypnosis and NLP can permanently release any unwanted patterns of behavior and instill lasting, healthy and positive patterns that effectively increase self-confidence and self-esteem.
