What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state of mind that we drift in and out of everyday. People in a state of hypnosis are not asleep, but are extremely relaxed and focused on a single idea or thought. Hypnosis is a comfortable brainwave state similar to daydreaming, which everyone has access too. It is a common misconception that some people cannot be hypnotized, this is not true; everyone can be hypnotized. If you have ever driven along the freeway, gone into a trance and then snapped out of it having no recollection of the past few miles, then you were hypnotized. If you’ve ever read a book, reached the bottom of a page and then realized that you have no idea what you just read, then you were hypnotized.
