How Does Hypnosis Work?
The human mind is divided into two parts the conscious and sub-conscious mind. We use our conscious mind everyday. It is responsible for all of our critical thinking, logic and analysis and composes 10% of the mind. The other 90% belongs to the sub-conscious mind, an extremely powerful part of the mind, which is responsible for all our routines, patterns, habits and beliefs. This is why, even when we desperately want to stop smoking, or control our eating, we’re only using 10% of our consciousness to make these changes and a strong part of us (90%) is still holding onto old patterns and behaviors that we no longer desire. Under hypnosis we are able to access the sub-conscious mind and effectively re-pattern old habits and routines to establish new healthy and desirable changes.

Separating the conscious and sub-conscious mind is the critical factor, which acts like a judge, protecting and guarding the sub-conscious mind from harmful or negative suggestions. Under hypnosis the judge relaxes and steps aside, allowing access to the sub-conscious mind. Even though the judge has moved aside, it is always watching and as soon as any suggestion that is considered less than positive is offered, the judge will quickly resume place cutting off access to the sub-conscious. Therefore, people under hypnosis are always in control and only positive and healthy suggestions are accepted and fully integrated into the mind.

Hypnosis is a comfortable, fun and relaxing experience that yields permanent positive changes.
